"Yalla" is a mobile app for backpackers exploring Israel, offering activities, hostels, and connections with other travelers for trip ideas.
USER RESEARCH
👉 I used social media platforms to gather precise insights into users and their challenges.
I analyzed vlogs of backpackers sharing their experiences in Israel to gain deeper insights into this audience.
I researched popular hashtags and locations used by backpackers in Israel, then invited potential users to participate in a survey to gather valuable data.
During my research, I covered the following topics:

▫️ Analyzing challenges faced by backpackers in Israel.
▫️ Identifying their needs and interests.
Gathering insights:
Through an in-depth analysis of vlogs and user surveys, I uncovered key insights about backpackers in Israel:
▫️ Their typical age range is between 20 and 40.
▫️ They prioritize seeking authentic local experiences during their trips.
▫️ They actively engage in sharing their travel experiences and seeking recommendations from fellow backpackers.
▫️ They face challenges finding affordable dining, activities, and accommodations.
